Antique Spanish Colonial style santo, carved and painted wood, with fabric and metal adornments, circa 19th century
height 18 in. x width 10 in. x depth 12 in.
Provenance: The Estate collection of late teacher and humanitarian Douglas Rhodenbaugh, from his historic downtown Austin, Texas home. Mr. Rhodenbaugh spent decades traveling throughout Latin America assuming his vast collection of folk and fine arts, often buying pieces directly from the artisans he met on his travels.
