Model: 1865 Conversion Shotgun
Caliber: .635 bore
Barrel length: 28 in.
OAL: 45.25 in.
Condition: Good (refinished) - Antique; wood stock & forend have moderate wear on refinish;Â barrel was reblued, but has some gray patina & pitting; frame has moderate wear & some pitting on the reblued finish; bore is mostly good & bright w/ few scattered spots of pitting
Includes: heavy octagon barrel w/ rounded muzzle; brass blade front sight; missing rear sight; magazine tube in butt compartment; reproduction leather Spencer Blakeslee cartridge box w/ 6 faux loading tubes
Marked: top of frame has been flattened & markings are not visible; barrel is unmarked; illegible stock cartouche is faded on left side behind saddle bar tang; underside of barrel has matching SN; multiple parts marked w/ "34"; action has a stabler cutoff
Provenance: Property from the collection of the late Marshall E. Kuykendall, of the former 101 Ranch in Hays County.
