Provenance: Property from a historic home in the Olmos Park neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas; originally purchased from a gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas
Becky Rogers is a Texas Hill Country artist whose work is deeply inspired by the region’s distinctive landscapes, including its bluebonnet fields, prickly pear, majestic oak trees, creeks, rivers, and wildlife. After discovering the Hill Country in the 1970s, she made it the central subject of her artistic practice, becoming particularly known for atmospheric bluebonnet landscapes. She exhibits professionally through invitational and juried exhibitions, galleries, and museums, and her work has been featured in publications including Southwest Art Magazine, Western Art Collector, American Artist, Hill Country Culture, and Heart of Texas. She is a member of Boerne Professional Artists, Oil Painters of America, American Plains Artists, American Society of Bovine Artists, and the Hill Country Council for the Arts, and maintains a home and teaching studio in the Texas Hill Country.
