H) Condition: Good; installed bone grips have moderate wear & yellow patina w/ small chip on butt of right panel and cracking; barrel, cylinder, backstrap & trigger guard have fading blue finish w/ gray/brown wear & patina; protected areas retain nice blue finish; frame retains some case colors in protected areas; light rust patches scattered throughout; bore is mostly good & bright w/ few pitting spots; strong rifling; mechanically excellent w/ smooth and well timed action; tight cylinder lock up Includes: Colt Letter shipping it to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri on May 18, 1903. -2 sets of vintage bone grips; each showing significant age & yellow patina w/ cracking; few chips on edges -Walnut French fit presentation case w/ black velour lining; includes wood cartridge box fitted w/ 12 rounds of W-W 38-40 WCF (case shows fair amount of wear w/ some splintering on exterior); vintage brass cleaning rod w/ wood handle, brush & mop fittings
