Barrel length: 28 in.
OAL: 43.5 in.
Condition: Good; wood stock & forend have mostly moderate handling marks w/ few chips on forend & on right side of stock around tang; barrel has gray/brown patina w/ light pitting; receiver has mostly gray patina w/ some hints of blue remaining & light pitting; bore is very good & bright w/ strong rifling
Includes: scope rings installed on barrel; nice pistol grip Monte Carlos stock w/ ebony grip insert & forend insert; heavy octagonal barrel
Marked: barrel is marked "A.W. PETERSON.  DENVER, COLO."; left side of receiver is marked w/ 4 overlapping letters (assuming initials), including the letters "C-H-F-A" all overlapped; patent date behind trigger reads "PAT. OCT. 7 ?? 79" followed by the serial number
Provenance: A San Antonio, Texas estate
