Vintage folk art style with wooden frame, and punched tin door and stones to crown, a one-of-a-kind piece by David Marsh (Austin, Texas), Nigris), titled "Nigris Brickus y Stonus Experimentus #2", signed on back, dated 1989
height 82 in. x width 25.5 in. x depth 13.5 in.
Provenance: The Estate collection of late teacher and humanitarian Douglas Rhodenbaugh, from his historic downtown Austin, Texas home. Mr. Rhodenbaugh spent decades traveling throughout Latin America assuming his vast collection of folk and fine arts, often buying pieces directly from the artisans he met on his travels.
Condition: Missing one stone to right side of crown
