Antique Spanish Colonial style polychrome Christ altar santo, hand-hand and painted, adorned with satin robe adorned with numerous milagro prayer charms, supported on stand, circa 19th to 20th century
height 42.5 in. x depth 10.5 in. x depth 10 in.
Provenance: The Estate collection of late teacher and humanitarian Douglas Rhodenbaugh, from his historic downtown Austin, Texas home. Mr. Rhodenbaugh spent decades traveling throughout Latin America assuming his vast collection of folk and fine arts, often buying pieces directly from the artisans he met on his travels.
