Mark Keathley grew up on the family farm in East Texas and loved spending his spare time exploring the woods and open fields of the region. Keathley uses blended bold strokes, amazing color, soul stirring light, and fine detail to bring to focus to the point of the painting, allowing the viewer to experience the emotion of the moment. Keathley is known for his romanticized Western scene painting, especially of cowboys and Native Americans in the landscape.
