Vintage hand-made and painted Mexican Danza de los Diablos (Dance of the Devils) mask with animal horns, circa mid-20th century
height 19 in. x width 14 in. x depth 11 in.
Provenance: The Estate collection of late teacher and humanitarian Douglas Rhodenbaugh, from his historic downtown Austin, Texas home. Mr. Rhodenbaugh spent decades traveling throughout Latin America assuming his vast collection of folk and fine arts, often buying pieces directly from the artisans he met on his travels.
