Regina upright music box with fifteen 21 in. discs, wooden cabinet with carved lyre motif on upper and lower panels, serpentine border molding on top and bottom edges, decorative scrollwork surrounding disc viewing area, opens to original brass mechanism with perforated metal disc and horizontal comb arrangement, with winding arm and instructions for coin operation, lower cabinet opens to storage shelves for discs, marked "Regina 32186" and "The Equitable Manfg. Co Iowa City, Iowa", includes key, in working condition, circa 1890s
height 82.5 in. x width 34.5 in. x depth 15.5 in.
Provenance: Property from a life-long African big game hunter, and displayed at his ranch in Pipe Creek, Texas
