Vintage Oaxacan vase with hand-modeled floral motifs, supported on woven reed stand, circa 20th century
height 10.5 in. x width 12 in. x depth 12 in.
Provenance: The Estate collection of late teacher and humanitarian Douglas Rhodenbaugh, from his historic downtown Austin, Texas home. Mr. Rhodenbaugh spent decades traveling throughout Latin America assuming his vast collection of folk and fine arts, often buying pieces directly from the artisans he met on his travels.
