- Lot Description
Faberge Limoges egg with a clear cut crystal upper half in a lattice pattern and a black porcelain lower half with gold scrolling foliage and rosettes. Gilt metal mounts with a double-headed eagle clasp; raised on pierced scroll feet. Opens to a gold-tone eagle with spread wings on a mirrored gilt disc stamped "FABERGE", three hallmarks including "925", and "NO. 8". Base inscribed "FABERGE Limoges France Serie Limitee".
