- Lot Description
Large polished fossil shell with a coiled spiral form and a high-gloss finish. The brown and amber surface shows intricate cream, fern-like suture patterns across both faces. The centre of the coil is a grey crystalline area with darker mineral patches. The open end of the shell shows a cut, polished edge. Shown held in hand for scale.
- Dimensions: 7 x 7.5 x 1.5 in
- Condition: Fine hairline cracks are visible near the centre and on the body, plus a small dark pit.
