- Lot Description
A dramatic bronze sculpture by W. Aribu titled Striker, depicting a large marlin surging upward from stylized ocean waves. The fish is dynamically modeled with a long pointed bill, open mouth, prominent dorsal fin, extended pectoral fins, and a sweeping curved body that creates a strong sense of movement.
Finished in a glossy deep emerald-green patina with lighter green and golden highlights, the sculpture contrasts dramatically with the vivid cobalt-blue wave-form base. Mounted on a circular black-and-white marble base with a brass plaque reading Striker By W. Aribu.
Dimensions: 28 in. H x 13 in. W x 9 in. D.
