Chinese 22-karat yellow gold ring set with an elongated oval jade cabochon of attractive apple-green color. The shoulders are decorated with traditional Chinese longevity motifs and pierced scrollwork, reflecting the influence of twentieth-century Chinese jewelry design. The interior is marked “22K,” with the gold purity confirmed by XRF testing. Weighing 6.4 grams, the ring combines high-karat gold with a classic jade setting, exemplifying the enduring cultural significance of jade as a symbol of prosperity, longevity, and good fortune in Chinese culture.
