Framed Victor Vasarely (1906-1997) lithograph in blue hues. Signed, in pencil, lower right. Numbered, 61/225 lower left. Watermark stamp lower left but difficult to read. Dimensions: (image) 35.5"h x 18"w; (overall) 45.75"h x 28.5"w. Born in Hungary, Vasarely received his Baccalaureate in Medicine but then switched to studying art at the Budapest Bauhaus. There he was exposed to research in color and optics. He is known for his innovations in color and optical illusion in art.
