- Lot Description
A bronze sculpture by Dutch-born American artist Loet Vanderveen (1921–2015) depicting a standing bull titled Toro. Finished with a rich dark brown patina and gilt highlights to the horns and tail, the sculpture exemplifies the artist’s streamlined interpretation of wildlife that established his international reputation. Signed “Loet” and numbered 80/750.
Dimensions: 20.5 x 9.5 x 9.5 in.
Shipping: Free Sacramento pickup. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $165 plus 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing).
Condition
Very good overall condition with an attractive dark brown patina and original gilt highlights. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display. Signed “Loet” and numbered 80/750.
