A Rolex Submariner stainless steel automatic wristwatch, reference 6536/1, produced during the formative years of the Submariner line. Introduced in the mid-1950s, the reference 6536/1 is recognized by collectors for its slimmer case profile, 100-meter depth rating, and classic no-date dial. This example features a black dial with luminous hour markers and Mercedes hands and is fitted with an Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by a Rolex presentation box.
Dimensions: 37 mm diameter
Shipping: Free Sacramento pickup. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $40 plus 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing).
Examined by our watch specialist and guaranteed authentic. The movement was observed running at the time of evaluation. The watch shows honest wear consistent with age and use. The bezel insert is a later replacement, and the Oyster bracelet is not correct for the reference. The dial, hands, and case exhibit an attractive vintage appearance.
The collection of a California attorney, now downsizing.
