Nagels work is characterized by a distinctive style descended from Art Deco, featuring sleek lines, pop art colors, and graphic design simplicity.Nagel original works are signed Nagel with loose, widely spaced letters.His work has been popular among collectors and his style combines Art Deco, pop art, and graphic design. Patrick Nagel was an American artist known for his distinctive, stylized illustrations, particularly his Nagel Woman portraits, which became iconic of the 1980s. Born in 1945, he achieved fame through his work in Playboy magazine and the Duran Duran album cover for Rio. Nagel art combined elements of Art Deco, pop art, and Japanese woodblock prints, creating a unique and instantly recognizable style
