American, late 19th/ early 20th century. A group of two Victorian blown glass epergnes comprising one four stem epergne in green opalescent glass with a ruffled lower bowl with conical center issuing a brass fitting surmounted with three floriform vases, the three lower ones each with petal form rims spilling down in the direction of the stem's leaning and the center vase with rim bearing three sections of upturned petals alternating with three flattened sections, each vase stem with spiral applied rigaree issuing foliate tabs; and a cranberry glass one-stem epergne with ruffled lower bowl having conical center issuing brass fitting surmounted with single clear to cranberry vase with ruffled rim and colorless spiral applied rigaree to stem. Each unmarked. Green epergne approximate height 21.25", diameter of lower bowl 12". Cranberry epergne approximate height 22", diameter of lower bowl 10.75".
Both epergnes in very good condition. There is an interior flaw to one green opalescent horn, possibly a bubble burst at surface (see image #4). Some sticker residue to interior of cranberry horn.
