The days of ‘49 festival held in Sacramento from May 23 to May 28, 1922 was a huge weeklong celebration of the 75th anniversary of the California Gold Rush. It was designed by the Chamber of Commerce to boost the city by transforming it into it a 1849 mining camp. The event even featured old west saloons, parades, and a 50 foot high mountain. Stand out features of this specific poster are the original vibrant colors, and a Birds Eye view of Downtown Sacramento.
