• Lot Description

  A large handwoven Salish Polychrome Imbricated basket of rectangular form with rounded corners, executed in tight coiled construction. The exterior displays vertical polychrome geometric banding in dark brown, reddish-brown, and tan tones against a natural ground. The interior shows consistent, even weaving with a rectangular coiled base and gently flared sides.

  Dimensions: Height: 10 in. Width: 13.25 in. Length: 17 in.

  This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $75.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing.   Condition

  Overall fair/good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use. Some distortion to the rim with a visible area of loss along the upper edge. Scattered surface wear and minor fraying to the weave. Structurally stable overall.
