- Lot Description
Imbricated coiled basket of tapered cylindrical form, constructed in tightly woven plant fibers, including bear grass overlay. The exterior surface displays a variegated, mottled pattern achieved through imbrication, with contrasting natural tones integrated into the weave rather than applied decoration. The form narrows slightly toward the base and features a reinforced rim. One applied loop handle of twisted fiber is affixed.

Condition
Overall good condition consistent with age and use. Minor surface wear and abrasion to exterior fibers. Some areas of dryness and slight fraying visible throughout. Handles intact but show wear and softening. Interior shows darkening from use. No major structural breaks observed; basket remains stable and functional
