• Lot Description

  Handwoven basket of natural plant fibers, of rounded form with slightly flared rim and tapered base. The exterior features a repeating geometric pattern in contrasting lighter and darker tones. The rim is reinforced and fitted with several looped attachments of hide or cord, possibly for suspension or securing a cover.

  Interior shows tight, consistent weaving with concentric construction visible at the base.
