- Lot Description
Barbed war spear (panilipo / falfeg) used by the head hunting tribes of northern Luzon island in the Philippines. iron spear point, short hardwood shaft, wrapped with iron and braided rattan ferrules, iron butt cap or spud socketed on base of shaft.
Dimensions: 46" shaft, 12.75" head including tang. 56.25" overall assembled length.
Processing and shipping within the Continental US $90. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition
Iron on shaft has oxidation. Spearhead is easily removed from shaft and has spots of oxidation and metal staining. Shaft has scrapes, dents, and nicks near the bottom , but the higher you go on the shaft, the cleaner becomes. Please see photos.
