- Lot Description
Barbed war spear (panilipo / falfeg) used by the head hunting tribes of northern Luzon island in the Philippines. iron spear point, short hardwood shaft, wrapped with braided rattan ferrules, iron butt cap or spud socketed on base of shaft.
Dimensions: 51.25" shaft, 10.25" head. 61.5" overall length.
Processing and shipping within the Continental US $100. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition
Iron butt spike has oxidation. Spearhead Is stained dark and has some light pitting, It's very shiny, possibly has been lacquered. Shaft has age and use related wear. Please see photos.
