- Lot Description
Attributed to Edmund Franklin Ward, American, 1892 to 1990, an oil painting on board depicting a French townscape view. Signed lower right. Stamped, The Estate of Edmund F. Ward, on the backside. Edmund Franklin Ward was an illustrator who illustrated for the Saturday Evening Post and did his first illustrations for the magazine before turning age 20. He had a successful career as an illustrator of works that ranged in style and subject matter from dark tonalist in oils to humorous in wash and watercolor. Purchaser understands, acknowledges, and agrees that any Lot won from ANTIQUE ARENA must be picked up within fourteen (14) days of the auction date. Purchasers who have not collected their Lots within fourteen (14) days, will be charged storage fees of $5.00 per Lot, per day. Additional fees apply to oversized lots.
In the event the property is not removed from ANTIQUE ARENA's premises within one hundred and eighty (180) days the property may be offered for sale to recover any past due fees and expenses incurred in connection with such sale, including storage and moving fees, attorney's fees and expenses, and a 25% seller's commission.
