• Lot Description
  Hearth Forged Iron Knocker with ornate pierced leaf form backplate having chiseled decoration, the knocker, from square stock, with pinned butterfly strap applique, hanging from a peened axle set in a mitered yoke with tapered hammer-in set spike. On a plum suede covered display mount. English Circa 1550 - 1600 5 1/2" long knocker, 4 5/8" x 3 7/8" backplate, The display stand is 9 1/4" tall 5" wide 4" depth
