Acrylic. John A. Ricciardi is a self-taught artist who finds endless inspiration in the natural beauty of New England. Working in both oil and acrylic, he captures serene seascapes and landscapes using brushes and palette knives, often painting en plein air. His calming, impressionistic works are held in private collections across the U.S. and abroad. John regularly exhibits on Cape Cod and the Islands, participates in plein air events including the Cahoon Museum’s Brush Off, and is a member of several regional arts organizations including the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Sandwich art Alliance, North River Art Society and the Bryan Memorial Art Gallery.
