• Lot Description
  Fan shape shadow box wall plaque with brass hook atop, minute hand engraved, depicting Eight Immortals, applied polychrome pigments to emphasise details; inscribed in the upper left corner: "At Jasper Lake, the feast winds to its close, while cups brim and fairies dance in light's repose / From jade pots warm, spring breezes stir their grace, till drunken immortals lie heaped in love's embrace. / Engraved respectfully by Chen Chiu Hsiung from San Tai Hao Mang / Created in Taipei, Taiwan in Gengxu Year (1970) / September, 1970 (Note: San Tai Hao Mang was a fine brush painting society established in Taipei). / Chen Chiu Hsiung's seal. Framed under glass with brocade silk and black finish frame, green velvet paper attached to the back.

  Condition

  Very good engraving, frame with soils and wear commensurate with age and use.
