• Lot Description
  Of rectangular shape traditionally hand carved in Chaozhou art style, using deep relief with open work cutouts, depicting a battle, finished with maroon red pigment and gilt highlights; back covered with later ArtSkills poster board. Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA; acquired from a private collection in Switzerland in 2013.

  Condition

  Very good overall antique condition, natural distress lines to wood, some wear to finish, soils and dust commensurate with age and use.
