• Lot Description
  Ice Cream Shop, 1990. Multi-technique glass sculpture — fused, slumped, cast and lampworked — modeled as a miniature ice cream parlor in shades of pink and gray, with jukebox, curved ice cream case, chrome counter stools and café furniture, glass block wall and tiled floor, raised on a glass plinth; offered with acrylic vitrine. Accompanied by a typed letter from the artist on Brock Glass letterhead describing the piece, and a letter of September 9, 1990 from Linda Boone of Habatat Galleries, Boca Raton, Florida. Exhibited: Habatat Galleries, Boca Raton, Florida, October 1990. Provenance: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hommel, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, acquired from the above.

  Condition

  Good. Adhesive residue and light tan discoloration along the sidewalk paving and base edges. Light surface soiling throughout. Offered with acrylic vitrine showing scratches and scuffs to all panels. Given the number of small applied elements, in-person inspection is recommended; components have not been counted against the original.
