• Lot Description
  A Heriz carpet featuring a large central geometric medallion set on a red field with angular floral motifs, branching elements, and stepped forms typical of the region. The ivory spandrels carry related geometric and floral details that mirror the main design. The border system includes a wide main border with repeating rosettes and abstract floral groupings, framed by guard borders with smaller geometric patterns. Persian, ca. 1970's
