• Lot Description
  A single calendar leaf opening "November heeft xxx dagen / Die mane xxx dagen," listing saints' feasts in Gothic hybrida script with feasts of local importance entered in red, including Willibrord and Lebuin (confessors venerated in the diocese of Utrecht), alongside All Saints, All Souls, Martin of Tours, Cecilia, Clement, Catherine, and Andrew. With KL monogram in blue and red, red and blue penwork initials, and cascading marginal flourishes. Comes in glass presentation case on a stand.

  Condition

  Good, with bright inks and clean vellum. Faint show-through and offsetting; minor edge wear; verso with old paper hinge residue at corners. Presentation glass is Brocken on one side.
