Japanese Imari porcelain footed dish, likely Meiji period (late 19th to early 20th century). This charming small cabinet piece is enameled and gilt with traditional Imari palette—deep cobalt blue, iron red, green, and gold—set against a creamy white ground. The dish interior features a central cartouche of stylized geometric and floral motifs, framed by alternating panels of chrysanthemums, floral sprays, and abstract medallions. The exterior is similarly decorated with floral panels and scrolling gilt embellishments. The footed base bears an apocryphal six-character Ming Chenghua mark in red enamel, typical of later Japanese export wares emulating Chinese forms.
