• Lot Description
  Late 19th to early 20th century Japanese tansu chest, constructed in two stacking sections for ease of transport. Crafted from richly grained wood with a warm reddish finish, the chest features multiple drawers of varying sizes fitted with iron pulls and elaborate lock plates. The iron hardware includes decorative corner mounts, lock escutcheons, and side handles for carrying.
