• Lot Description
  A Mahal carpet with a dark blue field arranged in an allover lattice of small geometric floral motifs. The pattern is executed in repeating rows, typical of village workshop production in the Heriz region. The border system includes a wide red main border featuring stylized rosettes and angular vine forms, framed by guard borders with smaller geometric elements. Persian, ca. 1970's
