• Lot Description
  Three antique portrait miniatures, the largest, at top center, features an ornate Rococo-style gilt frame with elaborate carved scrollwork and cream detailing surrounding an orange velvet mat, within which sits a small rectangular portrait of an 18th-century woman with long flowing auburn hair, wearing a blue-ribboned bodice and holding sheet music. At bottom left, a substantial rosewood shadowbox frame with deep mitered corners houses a circular miniature set against black velvet, depicting a genre scene of an elderly figure with a child in a warm interior setting. At bottom right, a modest oval dark wood frame with a brass bezel contains a delicate portrait of a young Victorian-era woman in a white dress adorned with blue ribbon trim and a jeweled necklace, her dark hair neatly styled and her expression serene.
