(3) U.S. Army Accoutrements: (1) Cartridge belt marked at back side "L.C.C . & Co, Right, 10-13" and faded marks appear to read " 19 15", a two part belt with five pouches at one side, the opposite side with four single pouches and one double magazine pouch interior marked "Russell, Sept. 1918" and housing two ,45 caliber unmarked magazines, a rectangular pouch with the interior marked "Aug 1918 over Mills" and housing an unopened tin marked "First Aid Packet-U.S. Army, Contract My 1918, Bauer & Black, Chicago U.S.A., To Open-Pull Ring, Patent Applied For", also with an attached Modell 1912 holster for the 1911 .45 pistol marked "U.S" and "O 2" at flap, above flap marked "3 AM. CO. N.Y." and marked at the backside "R.I.A., 1915, W.H.M.", the lower leather strap is broken with 15" of the original 18" remaining and is without buckle, needs leather cleaning but overall, except for strap, in good condition, also attached to the belt is canteen, the cover marked "U.S.", the canteen marked "7 U.S. ACA 1918", cap with chain is present; (1) Sam Browne Belt, also known as "Liberty Belt", maker marked "Clayton, Chicago", stamped size "36", brown leather in good condition, a mounted sword hanger marked "Rustproof'; (1) Model 1967 Load-Carrying Equipment, "U.S." marked shoulder harness connect to the belt now having one snap button pouch, two canteen pouches, one is of nylon construction and lacks canteen, the other with canteen marked "U.S. S.M. Co., 1945", and the larger "U.S" marked "Field Pack Combat M-" pouch now storing a nylon canteen case only and a Taiwan marked reproduction 39" waist belt, for shipping largest measures with items folded tightly approx. 14" x 12" x 9", total of all approx. 8.25lbs **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
