- Lot Description
Fenton opalescent art glass epergne, in the "Willow Green" pattern, from the "Centennial" collection, c.2000-2005, signed underfoot Frank M. Fenton (American, 1915-2005), numbered 984, having tapering central flute with scalloped rim, above three petal-form flutes, flared dish base, acid-etched maker's mark underfoot, stamped logo at base of central flute, approx 16.5"h, 13"w, 13"d, 7lbs
Condition
CR 8.29.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 1383 – the epergne is overall intact with no apparent chips or cracks, the glass is well-preserved, the flutes fit securely into the support, I note some roughness to the end pieces commensurate with contact with the support, light wear underfoot, and inherent imperfections including mold marks and texture, the largest flute displays a smooth imperfection just above the end fitting which appears original to the creation rather than a later chip, overall no significant loss observed, all wear and imperfections consistent with vintage age and use
