Mid-century modern mahogany "Taliesin" headboard, Frank Lloyd Wright (American 1867-1959) for Heritage Henredon, c.1950s, bookcase headboard with incised fretwork, fitted with three sliding cabinet doors, concealing divided interior with open storage, equipped with electrified outlets, flanked by open storage compartments with lower drawer, reverse signed FLLW, numbered 2004, accompanied by two unassociated Harvard Manufacturing Company twin-sized Hollywood rails, rising on casters, headboard: approx 33.5"h, 103"w, each rail: approx 66.5"l, 38.5"w **Note: matching fifteen-piece bedroom, living room, and dining suites offered in this auction**

05.15.26: I note that the headboard is structurally sturdy, the side compartments are secured to the frame with braces/ bracket hardware, the sliding doors operate smoothly, and the interior electrical outlets were observed operating, I observe typical minor surface wear such as a few small scuffs/ abrasions, commensurate with age and light use, as well as some areas of finish fading and spotting at the lower paneling (see images), unassociated Hollywood rails are adjustable and structurally secure, also having typical minor surface wear and paint losses consistent with use
