- Lot Description
Globe-form bar cart, late 20th c., printed terrestrial globe, surrounded by ring with the zodiac, hinged lid opening to fitted interior, lid interior with representations of the constellations, rising on turned legs, joined by lower shelf with additional bottle storage, on casters, approx 36"h, 24"diam
Condition
05.19.25: I note that the bar cart is presently intact and structurally sound, all joinery appearing secure, the hinged globe opening smoothly, as do the caster wheels, the exterior of the globe with a few minute holes/ tears, the particleboard frame and base with degradation at the edges with small areas of loss to paper surface, and areas that appear to have come in contact with water, having scattered discoloration and lifting, I observe a few minute creases to the paper, remaining overall securely laid, the interior with some minor residue and debris build up commensurate with age and use that would benefit from a cleaning, and there is minor surface wear such as small nicks and abrasions typical with age and use
