Vintage Elgin pocket watch – 15-jewel mechanical timepiece – early 1900s collectible railroad-style watch – USA made.
Antique Elgin National Watch Co. pocket watch, made in the USA and marked with serial number 13374081. This elegant early 20th-century timepiece features a beautifully engraved 15-jewel movement and showcases Elgin’s reputation for precision and durability.
The dial has a striking design with gold accents, blue numerals, and ornate gilded hands, along with a sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The movement is finely detailed with engraved flourishes and the inscription “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. U.S.A.”
The silver-tone case shows light wear from age and use but retains a lovely patina. The watch winds and sets; running condition has not been tested, so it is offered as-is for collectors or restoration.
Comparable Elgin 15-jewel pocket watches from this era typically sell in the $125–$225 range, depending on condition and operation.
Given its ornate dial and clean movement, this example is valued around $175.
Offered for sale as-is, ideal for collectors, vintage watch enthusiasts, or as a fine display piece representing early American watchmaking craftsmanship.
