- Lot Description
Korean ceramic presentation vase with white floral decoration on a tan background, inscribed at the shoulder in Korean, “President of the Republic of Korea, Roh Tae-woo.” The vase is accompanied by a gilt brocade-covered fitted case and a carved wood display stand. The vase was gifted by President Roh Tae-woo to U.S. President George H.W. Bush and acquired from a U.S. government auction of presidential items and accompanied by a copy of a George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum receipt of delivery. A similar example was presented to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Vase is in good condition with a visible repair and associated hairline crack to the neck. Please see photos for additional details.

Local pickup is available by appointment at our Ferndale, Michigan facility. Pickup or shipping must be scheduled within 15 business days of the invoice date to avoid storage fees.
