- Lot Description
1952 Untamed Frontier movie poster, starring Starring Joseph Cotten, Shelley Winters, and Scott Brady; directed by Hugo Fregonese. This poster is one of 4 sizes for the US market, and retains notes written in pencil on the back documenting its original location at the historical Roxy Theater in Nashville, Tennesse from March 22-23, 1953. The movie was a western drama about homesteaders encroaching on ranching lands of the Denbow family, a murder, and ensuing range war with the US government involved. It is unusual to know the location where a movie poster is used, such information being lost in the mists of time.
