- Lot Description
An early splendid Noritake vase featuring a view of sail ships on the sea, with bands of scrolling flourishes framing the scene above and below, pendants dropping on each "side." The interplay between the light blue and minty green embellished with rich gilding is a treat to behold. The gilded angular handles give it the Art Deco treatment. Back stamp Noritake Nippon; date c. 1915.
