- Lot Description
We think we are underselling this excellent sculpture by Meredith Rambo (1952 - 2024). It depicts the Tang dynasty poet Li Bai making a wine toast as the solitary drinker, resting comfortably against an old tree stump and a piece of pottery. There is visual excitement all around and the animated expression of the man adds to the appeal.
