Photograph of President John F. Kennedy's wife Jacqueline Bouvier in the summer of 1960 wearing a white and yellow checkered dress accompanied by earrings. The photograph from which this high quality print was made was the cover for his memoir of Jackie, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis: The Making of a First Lady : A Tribute by Jacques Lowe. About 40,000 of Lowe's negatives were destroyed on 9/11, including that of this print which was made in addition of 400 of which this one is an artist's proof. Titled center, signed lower right. Please note that the lighting for the main photograph heavy on the right. The print is evenly toned.
