MASSACHUSETTS/OHIO, 1921-2017 A painted aluminum and polished stainless steel sculpture by contemporary artist Shirley Koller. The work consists of a C form supporting a curlicue aluminum strip painted with wavy polychrome rainbow forms supported by a sharply angled anvil form base. The work exhibits influence from Koller's "Joy of Transportation" installation in D.C. Metro's Ballston Station.
36 5/8" tall, 10" deep approx.
Descent within the artist's family, from the artist's daughter, Laura Koller, Lincoln, Massachusetts.
