- Lot Description
A striking handcrafted modernist fish-shaped bowl or tray by Metales Casados, Mexico. This sculptural piece features a harmonious blend of polished brass and copper, highlighted by abalone shell inlays that accentuate the stylized fish design. It rests on three rounded feet and displays beautifully from all angles, combining form and function.
The base is clearly stamped:
“METALES HECHO EN MEXICO HANDWROUGHT 10.”
A wonderful example of mid-century Mexican metalwork, perfect for collectors of Metales Casados, folk art, or decorative arts from Taxco and the surrounding region.
Measurements:
7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 1.50 inches high

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
